First report from the TellMe project: Population behavior in epidemics

on Mon, 01/21/2013 - 12:43

A first report of the activity of the TellMe project has been released. The document, freely available on the TellMe website, summarizes the main findings of the first Work Package (WP1), whose aim was to collect and asses evidence about population behavior during epidemics. The report is based on six documents, produced by the different partners involved and presented during the Validation Workshop held in Rome on November 9th. The topics discussed in these documents ranged from components and issues of outbreak communication to vaccine acceptance, from communication needs of target groups to human rights, from reviews of previous outbreak communication to narratives and Urban Myths about epidemics.
