Validation of guidance document presenting communication strategies for preventing misinformation and to address resistance to vaccination

The purpose of this consultation is to validate the contents of the guidance document made for public health officials and professionals, which offers communication strategies with the aim of handling the emergence and spread of misinformation in the course of a major infectious disease outbreak, and addressing resistance to vaccination as a consequence of information complexities and uncertainties. This guidance document has been produced as part of a larger exercise with the overall aim to develop a Practical Guide for Outbreak Communication, for different actors involved in the outbreak communication process.
