A market validation of the TELL ME service will be performed, aiming to:

1. Establish what users "the local public" expect from e-Government, e-Democracy and e-Services applications;
2. Give local authorities the opportunity to test public online services under real-life conditions;
3. Pave the way to the overcoming of national borders, not only in the provision but also in the evaluation of public services;
4. Clarify whether or not the TELL-ME service can be used by other kinds of Living Labs (outside the e-Government domain);
5. Explore the cross-fertilisation advantages of a “co-design/co-creation approach” using e-Democracy-like tools to plan, communicate and evaluate technologies, ideas, solutions and applications by moderated discourses.

Deployment potential

The wide and fast diffusion of Living Labs across Europe makes the deployment potential of the service quite high. Activities in that respect will take place first in the 5 Living Labs that are members of the TELL ME consortium (in Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy and Spain), then in the additional (1st and/or 2nd wave) Living Labs contacted during the early project phase. The main obstacles to be overcome during the deployment phase are related.
