The 21st Bled Conference on “eCollaboration: overcoming boundaries through multi-channel interaction” took place in Bled, Slovenia from 15th to 18th June, 2008.
Thanks to its worldwide reputation, this conference attracts speakers and delegates from business, government, information technology providers and universities and is the major venue for researchers working in all aspects of “e”. At the previous edition in June 2007, 250 delegates from 34 countries attended the Bled eConference. Also in this edition there were a variety of keynote speakers from industry, government and academia.
The Conference has a wide appeal, offering:

•	A fully-refereed Research Track, devoted to researchers in all aspects of "e";
•	A Business and Government Panel Track which attracts eminent business and government leaders from Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific;
•	Business, Government and Academic Meetings, offering some unparalleled opportunities to think and share with colleagues from around the world.

The 2008 edition of the Conference – apart from the title itself, focusing as already mentioned on eCollaboration – was also relevant for its huge integration with Living Labs related topics. Starting from the opening session, a qualified and numerous presence of speakers was belonging to the European Living Labs community. It could be easily anticipated that also in the audience, a fair number of representatives from this community could be represented.
